    Your component choices look good. You could spend the extra on a nicer case:

    Or maybe look at a cheap SSD to speed everything up a bit? You may have to bump up the budget slightly for that though, depending.

    Vengence RAM is overpriced and the heatspreaders are a pain. This kit is almost half the price and the drop in performance is negligible:

    Thanks for the replies guys. I swapped the RAM out for the cheaper G.Skill but I think I’ll stick with the case. It has everything I need and keeps the price down. Which should cover the price of BF3!

    just wondering, i was hoping to overclock the i5 in the future, would the g.skill memory be good enough for overclocking with the CPU to 4.5?

    Memory has no impact on overclocking with that platform.
