Can anyone post the link to that wonderful UK website where all they sell is E38 7 series? Google is drawing a blank!

    Cheers.

Why not use AutoTrader and just specify your search results? Are 5 extra clicks really that hard?

//edit: http://www.autotrader.co.uk/search/used/cars/bmw/7_series/postcode/se265lj/radius/1500/sort/priceasc/maximum-age/over_10_years_old/price-to/5000 - there, even did the search for you...

    Must not use rolleyes...;)

What makes you think I'm looking for Autotrader?

I'm looking for a particular 7 series UK based website that has been linked to here a number of times, though that was apparent from my post!

Can't help you on name but I think it was a specialist site for importing from Japan or something?

Cheers, think it was called 7 Heaven or something, they only seemed to sell E38's, and the best of them too.

It's not a phone, its a hooker disciplinary tool :D
Really cool that they have a site dedicated to well looked after e38s
That '01 750iL is lovely. Widescreen Nav + sports steering wheel and highline trim.

I've been thinking my next car will be an XJR (V8), but I keep coming back to the 750 even though its less powerful. Ah well, I have another couple of years with the S80 to decide :)

Great site, I'll have the V8 please http://www.ultimate7.co.uk/MT51%20YHN/MT51%20YHN.html

Not too keen on the 750i with the blue interior, the stripes in the carpet are really noticeable http://www.ultimate7.co.uk/T815%20HRV/T815%20HRV.html

I love the cream on blue. Yum yum...

    That site is pure porn.

Funny enough, that 740i has been on the site the longest of any of the cars in the last 2 years, its been there for well over 6 months. The high-ish mileage is probably the off-putter, the price has come down too.

Its also a low spec for a 740i which is a shame.

That 750i is the one I was a few days away from buying when it sold, the stripes are just valet marks, the matts would be in the boot.

You would have to wonder how he makes a living purely out of selling 7's. I know he may have a name for it, but at the same time he's still in a very limited market.

Some lovely pictures of the in the "Gallery". Even a red one!

Do those phones actually work with a SIM?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,661 ✭✭✭Voodoomelon

He makes a living from it by buying them for nothing, spending a few weeks getting the paint and leather in top condition and selling them on.

Example, he offered me £2700 for mine which is in top condition, he'd sell it for £4995 easy. Nearly every car on there is gone inside 8 weeks.

And yes the phones still work with regular SIMs, Digifone shows up on mine. :)

Bought mine nearly 8 years ago. Back then I think I was the only E38 owner on boards :)

It's surprising to see that there is a dealer who specialises in only one specific generation of BMW 7 Series.

^^ Thats where I bought my 8er. Nice chap.

That chap selling the 7's has set up a tidy little business. Speaking from experience the cars he sells are top quality. He knows them inside out also.

After buying mine from him I rang him about 6 months later about something on the car. I was only looking for advice on where best to get a LCM for her and he told me he had one on the shelf and put it in the post the next day. Now thats service!

Can I ask how you went about getting it back to Ireland? (Assuming you are here)

Best way I could see was to fly into London City Airport and get a taxi to them.

http://www.gmscars.co.uk/ also got a few nice ones on the site.

I do like the 750's or even a 760li but think of the mileage and would I need a peaked cap to drive it?:D
