Cheap Downlight Cover Alternative

Just wondering does anybody know of cheap downlight covers or something that can be used to do the same job?

The draft thats coming down through the ceiling is bordering on a wind! we have 10 lights between two rooms and the hall.

I've checked on line, the cheapest I could find were cardboard "cone" type (30min fire proof I think) but they still worked out at about €9 each. The plastic ones are much more expensive.

From renting two houses now, I've come to the thinking that downlights are crazy and anyone that doesn't fit a backboiler in an open fire whether there's an alternative source of heating or not is actually insane!:p
