I am wondering if anybody would know what is the maximum wattage bulb (H4) you can put in a 2011 VW Caddy Van without upgrading fuses and wiring? The van comes standard with 60/55W H4 bulbs.

    H4?

Are you sure? H7 is nearly the standard fitment for most headlights at this stage

I think the present bulbs are the maximum legal for road use. However I will assume that you want to use them off-road, so what fuses are in it at present and is it one fuse for each bulb or one fuse for both bulbs?

I actually had one in the garage today and saw that. Strange, the previous model had h7s fitted.

Not being smart but have you had the light focusing checked. You shouldn't need more powerful bulbs really.

I have an 09 caddy van and the dipped headlights are very poor. They are dim and always seemed to be too low from the day I bought it new.
I had a 04 new model caddy and the lights were great.
Think ill go for +100% light bulbs in the same wattage and see what happens.
