I was looking for advice on best method for removing dried/cured excess 30N concrete from first floor concrete slabs?

I used the concrete left over from second pour of ICF gable endss to grout the first floor after the concrete slabs were in and unfortunately the excess concrete was not cleaned immediately and is now cured and first floor is lumpy.

My worry is if I lay insulation on the floor in current state I think the concrete will peirce the PIR boards reducing their effectivity.

    Thanks

Thank you. I will look into hiring one for a day.

Sounds easier than a heavy duty floor scraper !

If they dont have one consider a grinder: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TRbzCyXwFXk&feature=related
    has some clips.

Looking into the scabbler option more Id be afraid that might rip the floor up a bit too much. I have since organised a loan of Kango hammer with a wide head - I will try that first.

    thanks
