I'm considering purchasing a >120 year old house. It looks pretty sound all things considered, but I want to ensure I go in eyes as wide open as possible.

Can anyone recommend a building surveyor who knows his stuff when it comes to these kind of houses?

Preferably someone whose got a pragmatic approach to doing a survey and who'd be willing to lead the client around with him by way of edumikation

    Ta..

Apologies - I hadn't realised you weren't allowed to name individual companies.

Please PM, I would be glad to offer a strong recommendation.
