Damaged Tire?

Home from work and just about to head out for a spin, just noticed my rear tire has a couple of minor slits from my spin on Friday, more than likely from the gravel on the bike lanes.

Does this increase the chance of a puncture; do I need a new tire?

Small slits happen, just make sure there aren't any shards of glass or the like stuck in the tyre and you're grand.

Depends on how deep the cuts are and where on the tyre they are. If you can see any chords or canvas, it might not last too long

I dunno if this is useful, but I have repaired cuts in a tyres using a glue like Serious Glue: my thinking is, that small stones/glass might get stuck in the cuts and work in deeper.
