Basically I live in a block of 15 apartments and we have some idiots who keep leaving the latch on front and back doors to common areas so their friends can walk in and out.
We have had some damage to hallways and fire extinguishers robbed from youths wandering the hallways at night.
This has been reported to the management company for 2 years now about the scum bags and what apartment they live in but the management company wont do anything about it. Just giving run around.
Is there some were higher I could go? At this stage none of us living here no what we will meet in common areas

This is a common enough problem, mostly as a result of people pressing the emergency release buttons that are usually found in basements leading to and from the lobbies. Unfortunately they are part of the buidling's design so they have to be there and once they are pressed, it's game over for security until they are reset. Obviously there could be other reasons why this is happening in your particular case.

You mean that it's been reported to the management agent a number of times.

Have you brought the issue up at your management company AGM?

You could send a registered letter to the directors of your management compan (not management agent), and ask them to address the issue. The director details should be available through the CRO website for a small charge.

Raise the issue of the lack of fire extinguishers not being in compliance with the fire certificate.

They are replacing the extinguishers most the time which is costing us money.
I have reported this apartment every week for the last year along with other neighbours and we are getting from the management agent " Oh yeah we will get them out"
All we want is a secure building but its turning into a disaster. The apartment occupiers are on rent allowence none work and just sit on there balcony drinking cans all day

Why don't you talk to the unit owner? You are entitled to their contact details (assuming that you also own your unit).

This issue should be raised at your AGM.

Get everyone to lodge complaints with the PTRB about this.

Also, the management company (via the agent), plus the landlord has a legal responsibility.
