Question regarding spring

A friend who is overseas and into airsoft sent me a link to an upgrade kit for a spring rifle. It contains a spring, a metal piston and a metal spring guide. While it does seem to be a great deal with good reviews, the spring would almost certainly put my gun over the 1joule limit. While I wouldn't be using the spring (it would almost certainly break the trigger mechanism on my gun, not to mention it's illegal), I would like to buy this set.
Would this set be seized at customs? If so, would they release the piston and spring guide to me, or would the entire set be held?

They might just stop it for tax, they won't seize a spring because it would be over 1J.

Okay, thanks. I'll go ahead with the purchase then.

Sorry for thread bumping, but when you say they stop it for tax, how exactly do they do it? Presumably the item is already paid for, do you pay upon delivery or what?

If the total price of the order + delivery is over €22 they might stop it for VAT, you pay it to the postman/courier when they deliver it to ya.
