    I know the contracts for the iPhone 4s is 24 months but can you upgrade your phone before that

    i.e 12 months?

    No, under no circumstances will they allow it, not even under goodwill after loss of original phone etc

    If 24 months is too long, and you know you will want to upgrade in 12 months, then i would recommend you not sign into it.

    My mams 18 month contract is up in Jan 2012, and they wouldnt let her upgrade until Dec at the earliest.

    Emobile have iphones on 12 month contracts afaik, why not try them. Otherwise, Meteor have 12 month contracts on every other smartphone they sell..

    Meteor actually welly the iPhone 4S on 18montg contract but don't really advertise. The phone however isn't free on it. I got the 64gb 4S last week for €399 on 18month smart50. 16gb is €199. Price of phone varies depending on what price plan u choose. I think they might do 12montgs also. You'll only find out by asking in store about it. Hope this helps
