    Hi,
Just wondering if someone could help me with a few queries.
Can you bring razors in your hand luggage if the blades are still in the small sealed packages- like gilette venus ones?
I'm guessing tweezers are a no go?
Also are things like sudocreme and body butter counted as liquids?? As in I can only bring 100mls??
    Thanks!

Oh the pains of travelling with only hand luggage!
Razors are a no no regardless if they are unopened pack etc. Body butters etc are counted as liquid, and subject to the 100ml rule.
You cant bring more than what fits in a sandwich bag which isnt a lot and the best thing to do in my opinion is to avail of the big boots in the airport after you pass through screening and pick up body lotions etc there. Unless you can fit everything into a sandwich bag of course, deodarant, perfume, liquid type make up like mascara, foundation, lip gloss.
I really think they need to revise that rule, its ridiculous, you are penalised with higher costs if you check in a bag but if only bringing hand luggage you cant bring everything you need!

There's no problem bringing a normal razor with a safety blade, but you're not allowed bring open razor blades.
Things like sudocreme and body butter would be counted as liquids, and subject to the 100ml each/1 litre in total limit.
Last time I went through Dublin Airport the guy at the security check told me the rules have changed and you can bring a nail scissors on board now. I don't believe this, I've found no mention of any rule change, and I wouldn't chance bringing a tweezers unless you're prepared to risk having to leave it behind.

I always travel with a tweezers and I've never been stopped. Just passed through two airports today with one. You can buy small 100ml containers and put what you need in them. I know it's not ideal.

I've brought tweezers and nail scissors before. They measured the blade on the scissors and said it was fine. Still, I also wouldn't bring either if I really didn't want to lose them, the security staff can be pretty inconsistent.

Razors with safety blades are definitely not a problem.

I've bought an unopen pack of Galette Razors before and there was no problem bringing them as hand luggage!
