What do you do when your memory card is full.

Do you reuse it again or go buy a new one.

I usually just put them in the bin.

just turn it upside down and slot it back in.

I go back to the exact same places I've taken all my photos, and pretend I'm taking them all again. But really I'm just hitting next on the playback.

Ah c'mon folks give him a break. :p

Transfer your pics to your computer, format your card and start again.

Or you could keep the card as a back up and just buy a new card. My cousin does that all the time. He labels the card and files it away.

in the 80's if you took a stanley blade to a 5.25inch floppy drive with exact precision, you could reliably do what Iamblip suggests - take your 5.25" floppy and have it usable as 2 x 5.25" disks  Them were the days. 80 tracks of 1.2MB goodness. You'd need about 20 of em for a RAW image from todays cameras. You'd take a little while to take an image while changing 20 floppy disks. Actually that reminds me of installing microsoft office with about 40 3.5" 1.44MB floppy disks packaged in a series of rather cool cardboard envelopes. (meh.... I also used albeit very briefly 8" floppy disk drives)

Now I just put the SD card into cryogenics such that at some point in time in the future when science develops enough, that we may be able to rejuvenate said SD cards.

(in reality I just erase whats on em and reuse them again however I prefer the explanation above :) I also think that given the price of cards these days it is probably entirely feasible not to reuse them, just use them as your storage, just like negatives of yesterday).

I DL the pics to the PC and then format on the camera.
Always done this since I got a digital.
My hdd died the other day, man I regret not backing that hdd up a couple of times.
Considering the price of SD cards, I should just replace them and use the card as back up, anyone know the lifespan of a used once card? I imagine it is infinite as its the reuse that destroys them.
