As we set up paddy had told me there were using the river course to get to the bean stubble he had being using it for for a few days . 6 pm we were set up paddy was in front of me 200 yards i was in a low ditch with good veiws of the river but out of sight paddy was first to get a shot missed 3 mallard the split up one came my way shot it stone dead max picked up easy one well the next hour was unreal mallard in 4s and 6s made there way up river the wind was in there tails so it did not take much for them to be out of range . i got 2 lefts and rights the max was flat out retrieving paddy was not as lucky he had shot just one for a decent few shots i got a cracker of a duck paddy had clipped we finished up bang on 7 pm we had shot 16 mallard between us. it was one of the best duck flights i ever had luck was on my side i had shot 12 for 19 shots well paddy has had better days again i used my skeet gun with rc 4 34 grams paddy used his semi auto we plan to hit them again in a two weeks time again if we get the wind
