Voice memos - syncing to PC

This question has been asked before here and also on an Apple forum, but it seems to have been left unanswered.

I have some very important voice memos on my iPhone. I'd like to sync them off the phone onto my computer. I don't have any music to sync onto the phone, so I've never selected the option.

When I select the 'Sync Music' option, I get a message that reads "Are you sure you want to sync music? All existing content on the iPhone <name> will be removed and replaced with songs and playlists from your iTunes library."

If I choose the 'Sync Music' option, does this mean that my Voice Memos will be deleted as well?

Please only reply if you have experience at trying this and aren't guessing! Also, I'd prefer (for my sins) to use iTunes if possible to do the syncing...

May as well answer me own question since no one replied. The answer is no, it's just a stupid, incorrect warning message on iTunes part.

Turned out my voice memo syncing problems were related to a known bug with iTunes - I say known as in people have reported it but Apple aren't bothered to acknowledge or fix it. Solution in end was to trim all voice memos slightly so that file type would be changed to type that iTunes now only decides to recognise.

My next phone will NOT be an iPhone!
