.22 on horses.

    Not a hunting observation but might be somewhat informative. Like anything when you there a larger impression is left I suppose.

    Saw several horses being put down with .22 over the last few weeks. Having never used one on anything bigger than a rabbit I never knew how effective the round would be on anything larger.
    All shots bar one were very close so that was a main factor I realise but it sure was an effective round for the job. Poor old horses first to feel the recession in many ways.:(
