    It's a bank holiday, so there's the Monday off.

    Unless you're asking do 18+ year old adults get a week off so they can go to fancy dress parties, in which case no, they don't.

    NUIM get this week off for midterm. Not that hard to imagine other colleges getting it off as well.

    but no, OP, we don't get this week off. Just the bank holiday monday

    Three+ months at summer and nearly a month at Christmas isn't enough? Just wait until you are lucky to have 2 weeks off in the whole year!


    (note that I am still unemployed and just echoing the complaints of friends who are employed)
