    I am going to visit a patient in Merlin Park this evening after work. As it's a nice evening I was thinking of walking down there from Wellpark.

    Looking up the area there is a housing estate just beside the road into the hospital and it looks like there is a way to cross from the housing estate into the hospital grounds. It'd be a grand shortcut and save me a going around by the road. Is it possible to do that? The estate is Sruthain Mhuirline.

    -yes it is possible and its a nicer walk then going along Dublin Rd, you could turn left behind GMIT or at Glenina and then walk beside church and school then turn right and then left to Castlepark Rd.
    When you go down Sruthain Mhuirline. you will see old tower ruin and then you have to head right and you will see long path -you need to turn right and go down just few meters you will meet hospital road.

    -main path is going in the green arrow direction and you just have to turn right and go down through some bushes to meet the hospital grounds (and then left)
