Anyone looked at this before? Guy has some pretty out there ideas on both diet and training.

Know two people making serious progress following the book

Giving the Slow Carb diet a go for the next few weeks and see how I feel. Not going to change up my routine just yet though.

I followed this for a while and good enough results (not the 20lbs of fat he claims in 30 days though). My diet was alright before hand (worst would be too much carbs) and I was already training away anyway but was having trouble getting through a plateau weight wise.

In the first week I lost 2.5KG but I would guess most of this was water weight or simply not eating the carbs (no bread, pasta, rice, etc) or processed sugars.

I followed all the advice (cold showers, ice packs, PAGG) and in the 30 days lost around 14lbs and did drop a noticeable amount of inches from my stomach & arms.

Would I recommend it? I bought the audio book and it kept me entertained on holidays, it gave me some info I didn't already know about and cleared up some misunderstandings I had but to be honest it's just another take on eating healthy and exercising efficiently.

It would be just as effective as following a paleo diet (which is what I follow now) and doing something like crossfit (or any activity to be honest). Keep you money and you should find all the info you need for free online.
