Form 11 Question

    Hi,
My wife and I are jointly assessed for income tax, have rental income and are completing our 2010 return.

    1. I am right in saying we can only claim 75% of the interest paid on the mortgage against tax (ie 75% from the figure pro rata on that years mortgage statment)?

    2. May I claim for unpaid bills while the property was let and/ or while it was not let? And if so under what heading? I was going to claim them under repairs.

    3. Do I have to complete form 11 or will form 11e suffice - we have rental income of approx 10,700 euro.

    4. How do we claim depreciation of 12.5%?

    5. I assume when it asks for gross amount of income from irish employments this is the figure as per p60 and not from income levy cert.

    Thanks.
