The Fariones Hotel in Puerto Del Carmen is an excellent hotel. It is in the best location on the island. I am not sure about prices at that time but you will not be disappointed.

I stayed in the Hesperia in Puerto Calero last year and it was lovely, returning again in Nov.

The resort itself is very small and quiet which I like but still close to Puerto del Carmen if you want a bit more in the line of resturants and bars.

Stayed in The San Antonia Hotel recently, has everything, nice and quiet, practically on the beach, 3 swimming pools on different levels. I stayed all inclusive and loved every minute of it. Just a nice stroll into town any time. Taxis and buses right outside front gate. I envy you, but have a lovely time.

Sorry, forgot to say it's in Puerto del Carmen, at the end of the promenade.

How far is it from Airport ? I been looking at this hotel, Hesperia, Los Forienes, and Volcan so far I think I prefer San antonia

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, am happy to start another but this was the most current I could see.

Going on honeymoon in December this year also, thinking Lanzarote, 5 star all inclusive ideally. Maybe somewhere with a nice village close by if need be.

Would appreciate any recommendations, and how to get upgraded to a honeymoon suite without getting completely cleaned out! :)

We have booked all our honeymoon hotels (not Lanzarote) on booking.com. Then we have emailed the hotel directly and advised them that it is our honeymoon and we would appreciate a nice quiet room - not directly asking for an upgrade but it has worked!! :)

Makes perfect sense, thanks! Will try that next year when I'm booking the big honeymoon too

I haven't stayed there, but I have visited the Melia Salinas in Costa Teguise several times and it looks fantastic.

I would have to say check out Lani's Suites de Luxe in Puerto del Carmen. I just did a search and found this info on them: There are a selection of 25 exclusive suites available to over 16’s at the beachfront Lani’s Suites Deluxe hotel in Puerto del Carmen. Situated in the new town area of the resort there are 5 different kinds of suites ranging from 1 bedroom Suite Deluxe, Suite Ocean and Suite Business to 2 bedroom Suite Master and Suite Lanis. The accommodation is ultra cool, with air conditioning, WiFi, Nespresso machine, bathrobe and slippers as standard. Bed & Breakfast or Half Board accommodation available.

They are in a perfect location on the beach side of the strip between Matagorda and the Old Town. We were with our kids but my hubby and I definitely said it looked fab from the street. A friend of mine just back from PDC and she also mentioned them out of the blue for a possible luxury weekend away. Check them out as I'd definitely say this place looks like honeymoon material! Good luck!
