Shooting pheasants

    Ok im headin out for a shoot shortly and i was wonderin what the best ammo to use im not a big shot gun man i have baikel over and under but when out shooting pigeons or crows i cant seem to drop anythin past 30 yards i use a no 6 and if a bird pops up i wanna be sure to drop one so any advice greatly needed thanks

    6s should be grand and dont rush the shot ! are you working a dog or going solo. eley vip game are supposed to be the dogs nuts i use special pigeon as stated in another post and find them a1

    Cheers for the info ill be headin out with a friend who does a fair bit he has 2 dogs as i say dont use the shotgun much but said id go for the crack

    I've been using eley grand prix maximum 6's 34 gram and I find them mighty. I got a box a couple of weeks ago just to be ready for the first, I think I paid 8.50.

    usually use 32gr 6's they do the job grand

    Just use 32g 7s or 6s more that adequate out to around 50 60 yards with myself Anyhow anything else is over kill

    skeet chokes 34 gram rc4 size 6 if carlsberg did cartridges it would be rc4
