Spigot Filter any one tried it before!

    Hi,
    Was wondering if any one has use a spigot filter to help clarify the wort after first fermentation, im wating to bottle and thought if i could filter the wort before i bottle i would help things along and i would have to wait for it settle in the fermenter, just wanted to see if any one has done it before?

    I'm not sure there is any point in filtering it before bottling as there is a going to be a secondary fermentation in the bottle anyway. Correct me if I'm wrong?

    It's also just another bit of kit to hide bacteria and potentially cause infection.
