I've never been big into random channel watching so I tend to leave documentaries or something substantial on the screen (computer/tv screen).

It's usually http://oireachtas.tv/ I leave on, I tend to learn a fair bit from it that i'd other wise be ignorant off. I also find it a great way of finding out who i shouldnt vote for in future, who i should, and mostly which politicians give a damn, and which fall asleep.

Do many of you watch http://oireachtas.tv/ regularly? I wish it was on a TV channel for most people to have access to.

Im very proud that we have a constant stream of our leaders arguing. I always loved that idea.

If I felt that the debates taking place within the chamber had any real relevance, then I'd watch it; but they don't, so I don't. It just feels like seeing a bunch of people going through the motions.

Well if you like Oireachtas TV, then here are the links for:

    EuroparlTV

and, perhaps, more comprehensive in content:

EbS and EbS+ from the Commission (link is to the schedule).

Some of the County Councils have started doing webcasts of their meetings as well.

We haven't reached the US level yet though where all government meetings tend to be broadcast by default.
