    I thought Fionnan's full page spread in today's indo with large photo of Gallagher and his wife was an attempt to help him get elected..

    He is on VB at the moment trying to appear neutral.....

    He certainly wasn't trying to get him elected on VB anyway. A complete tool of a man, he couldn't even get the Sinn Fein fuel smugglers name right, kept calling him Hugh Ormonde.

    One thing the Independant cant be accused of is helping Gallagher. Theyve been targeting him all week.

    I mostly like Fionnan Sheehan but I remember back in election time he became very tetchy when asked about his affiliation to his wife's politics, which I thought was a fair bloody question. It's not good enough to say 'I have nothing to do with my wife' when she is a politician and he is supposed to be a neutral political commentator.

    I'm not saying Sheehan is biased but his belief that we had no right to consider his bias seemed a tad extravagent.

    Why do professional pundits sets themselves apart - we on boards.ie do it for free.

    How are we meant to summarise Sheahan without getting thrown off boards?
    I recall about a year and a half ago him on one of his regular commentary slots explaining knowledgably how Enda Kenny was just a dead man walking. Great insight... If this is a leading political commentator we should bring back bosco!:rolleyes:

    The only person taking Sheehan seriously, is the "ginger" himself. I've come to the conclusion that these media guys and dolls really think they're somebody, they're like those girls following bands for the thrill, media groupies. If you don't play by their rules, they write sh1t about you, unless you've plenty of dosh you have no fallback from their filth. Sheehan and co have really exposed themselves as filth over the course of this election.
