I am looking for some information on Filtration systems for my own well we have a lot of lime in our water and I want to put some filtration system in place.
I have seen you can get 5 stage RO systems which you can fit under your sink unit but I want somwthing at the pump as I dont have the space to install one under the sink any info would be great.

A water softener can be installed at the pump, my ma has one in Kilbeggan. Not cheap though, you are looking at 650 quid to get it installed

I fit a lot of pumps and various filtration systems, since your on your own well your best bet would be to get a full water test done first and that would show exactly what you need to treat in your water, you could also qualify for a 75percent grant from your local authority depending on a few factors including what exactly you are filtering.
