It's not a new thing no.

I've just always regarded it as an OTT luxury. I can wash and dry my own hair, why spend extra for someone else to do it, then cut it off?

I saw this deal on boards deals: https://www.boardsdeals.ie/deal/18-instead-of-58-for-Wash-Cut-Blowdry-and-Indian-Head-Massage-at-The-Square-Barbers/548/

18 euro for a wash, cut, blow-dry.. and Indian head massage, in a barbers.

I've never had my hair washed, cut and blow-dried in my life.. I thought the idea of a barbers was a quick haircut with some football talk. Its a barbers after all, not a salon.

Is this a new fad or something? I'd consider this fairly unmanly.

Real men wouldn't read such ads.

Real men are also comfortable with their sexually. Sometimes its nice to go to a good barber and get a decent haircut, rather than the €6 mauling from some guy who can only use a blade.
