At no time last night did the diversions list here say anything other than operating as normal for the 74a.

There was a 2 foot deep lake in the road on Stocking Avenue and the busses did not serve the terminus for at least a few hours. Could dublin bus take measures to improve the accuracy of the diversions listed come the next set weather related chaos.

I understand the reason for diversions, my problem is that it is not listed on dublinbus.ie and the driver refused to answer when I asked if any areas on the route were out of service.

I know the whole situation wasn't good but the lake in question also blocked foot paths and made it damn difficult to get home since there was not an alternate path past the area in question.

No need for abuse like that.

With Dublin Bus, given its large number of route, it can mean the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing.

I notified them of an error about the 17a, they acknowledged it, but didn't change it on the website.

We will continue to monitor all routes and corridors throughout the evening and early Tuesday Morning 25th October and we will update the information below continuously.

Please note the North Quays are closed at Parkgate Street due to flooding.

Quick thinking from the Gardai and Dublin Bus when Wolfe Tone Quay was closed due to the flooding yesterday.

    What was the quick thinking?

Diverting the busses down the LUAS tracks past the flood instead of stopping the busses and making the passengers walk the remainder of their journey in the rain?
