    mine was rubbish too, finished night shift this morning, asleep all day (so didnt see weather), got up and got ready for night out with the girls, only to find my route out is impassable so now stuck at home all dressed up but with nowhere to :cool:

    I went for a walk, helped my Mam with the shopping, had a shower and then sat on my lazy arse for the rest of the day playing football manager. Also made some Carbonarra for dinner.

    OP...perhaps you were verbally abused by your boss because he's not paying you to read/post on boards during work hours???

    As for me...well I'm working from home, so I just went shopping. This morning I fixed 2 software/coding bugs, which means I need to create 2 more this afternoon (creating job security).
    And then I need to create a user manual for one of my applications, and it needs to be so simple that a 5 year old could read it as my customers are idiots.

    All in all, a fairly typical day...well except for the dead cat incident.

    So whats the thread about OP? Why did your boss verbally abuse you, I figure your 4 hour journey was due to copious amounts of water, possibly.

    He probably caught her having a nap at the desk. She gets very tired at work.
