Airbag Light

The Airbag warning light keeps going on and off while I drive. It stays on for about 5 mins then goes off for another 5 completely random. It is usually off when I start up and comes on after a few minutes then alternates for the rest of the journey.

I guess it is 1 of the senors that is faulty. I put the diagnostic computer on it to turn it off put it just does the same not long after. I'm just wondering could it be a loose wire or faulty connection that I could locate and fix or will I have to leave into a garage?

Sorry, can't be of much help so. Had a problem with mine regarding drivers side, side airbag. But no knowledge of main airbags. But I'd be certain someone on here will.

the airbag light usually indicates that there is a problem with you air bags, it should come on and off in a sequence and flash a certain mount of times, if you search it on google it should tell you whats rong by the amount of times the light flashes.

Check the connections under the front seats, especially the passenger seat.

oh! ...disconnect the battery for at least 30 minutes before doing anything if you are going to make or break connections.

not sure about nissans ,but renaults give terrable trouble with this ,
its usually the wiring under the frount seats ,the seatbelt clips on the seats are connected to the air bag system ,and will put the airbag warning light on ,
    cheak all the connections .
