Summons to court

    Hi,
    I had no NCT on my car recently and got stopped. I have received a summons for court in Dec. Does any one know what will happen at this and do i need to bring a legal or can i go on my own??

    You could receive 5 penalty points and a big fine. Get your car NCT'd and get a local solicitor.

    You can do it on your own, Did you have a good excuse for not having an NCT, how soon after getting stopped did you get one?

    no way....I'm only getting it done now. I've had medical problems and lost my job so had no extra cash availble. I wouldn't mind but the car is never used, it was the one morning the other car had a flat. The guard asked me on the day why i didn't have it done i told him money reasons.
