Statutory Redundancy for Contractors

Hi all, wonder if anyone knows anything about this. I have been working continuously on a temporary contract through an agency for a multinational for seven years. I submit signed timesheets on a weekly basis to the agency ( who are my registered employer) who pay it into my bank account. I have been informed that my role with the multinational will finish up shortly, so there will be no job for me there anymore. Am I entitled to any statutory redundancy? If so, how do I go about getting it?

    See here:

Agency employees are also protected under redundancy legislation. If the employment agency pays the wages, it is responsible for paying the statutory redundancy payment.
Speak to the Agency as they are your employers.
