Full brother to Frankel goes makes his debut in what looks a decent maiden for the track tomorrow.

Race includes newcomers from Godolphin,2 Highclare horses and a nicely bred Gerard Butler colt by Montjeu

With a projected SP of 5/4 I'd rather watch.
I remember Benvenuto making his debut at 4/5. I nearly got on at 2/5 in the morning, thank the lord I didn't. Was still a maiden last time he ran, proving full siblings don't always get the same talent.

I'd say he will be closer to Bullet Train than Frankel in terms of ability, I just can't see another freak of nature like Frankel emerging for a good while yet.

Henry will have him ready first time out, Frankel and Bullet Train were ready first time out and this fellow will be no different.

Bullet Train did it in that race too

Projected SP of 5/4 doesn't look like it's gonna happen,he's as big as 100/30

Varians colt looks like one to put it up to him if sales price is anything to go by.

That is quite true. Has a derby entry.

    Look at Gosden's in the first.Lovely pedigree,was 12/1 about 45 minutes ago,looking now it's around 4/1 5/1 even 7/2

Not the worst run from Gosdens runner there, will defo keep an eye on him next time out!

Gonna throw few pennies on Noble Mission and a few less pennies on the Fraser Hill/ Noble Mission Forecast.

Godolphin have a nice one there! Serious gamble landed and Noble Mission not disgraced either.

We've had two now though in the space of a couple of years, Sea The Stars and Frankel.

Anyway a satisfactory run from Noble Mission. He'll win races. STS only came 4th on his debut remember. Most jockeys tend to go easy enough on a horse first time out, it's a matter of just giving them a taste of the racecourse. Let's see what he does the next day.

The next day will be next season ! Sir Henry has said he only plans to run him the one time as a 2yo. Nice run though. Winner could be decent done that with ease only had to be pushed out.

Really? I thought he must have been a late foal so, but a look on sportinglife.com tells me he foaled on 25th Feb 2009 which makes him a fairly advanced 2yo. Maybe they're just bringing him along slowly. Be interesting to see if he has even a fraction of his brother's ability. Today's debut suggests that that he might be useful anyway.

I wouldn't be quite as quick to be impressed by him today.

The winner did it well, but the horse never even looked like challenging.

Making a reference to Sea the Stars' maiden is totally inaccurate here I feel.
John Oxx is notorious for handling 2 year olds gently and not pressurizing them, Noble Mission was given a harder ride today than Sea the Stars',not to mention STS was beaten less than a length under a cautious ride, behind a Dante winner and a group 1 forth.

I wouldn't be a backer of this fella next time out either if he'd be going in at a very short price, which undoubtedly he will be.

I know what you mean. We wouldn't even be talking about this fella only for the fact he's the brother of a star horse. But all in all I'd say it was a satisfactory debut, no more nor less than that. If he ends up good enough for listed level or something like that connections would be pretty happy I'd say. Multiple group one winners like Frankel are a rarity.

I suppose the drift did say it all. For a horse who's projected SP was 5/4 and to run at 6/1 he was clearly going to need the run.

Cecil has come out and said that he knows he isn't a superstar.
