Pain while breaking in boots

Hello there. Looking for advice again.
I bought a pair of Saloman Quest boots the other day in The great outdoors and for the last few days I've been breaking them in. Nothing rough , easy soft surface most of the time no major hills, but after I walk about 3-4 hundred meters I start to feel a pain on the outside of my right foot. the left foot is fine by the way.
Now I tried these boots on a couple of times when deciding which to buy and they are a snug ,comfortable fit and of course buying them in the great outdoors I've had my foot measured , so they should be the right size. There's no slipping and I've not gotten any blisters or anything , just this pain in the outside of the right foot.
I was wondering if this might be an arch support problem or something more serious. Any ideas ??

How you lace your boots makes a huge difference. Try one of these methods before going back to the shop.

Thanks Sparrowcarr, I checked those links out and tried a different lacing technique in conjuction with the lace locks on the boot. Along with some extra arch support, and the new lacing, went on a fast paced moderate hike last Sunday and no problems whatsoever. Much appreciated.

Nice to see you resolved it already. I always find decent boots take a while. I wear them knocking around for a couple of weeks. Just going to the shop, work (not much walking), around the house etc. before I go for a proper walk in them.
