Think Tank Hydrophobia Rain Cover - is it for me?!

I need a waterproof cover for my Nikon D90 and am looking at this:

    http://www.thinktankphoto.com/products/hydrophobia-flash-70-200-rain-cover.aspx

The only thing I'm dubious about is in the description, it states the cover is specifically for pro cameras. Will it just be too big for my camera, or will it do the job? Any thoughts will be appreciated.

I think it would be suitable for your D90, its flexible material so you can use it with most SLRs I would imagine

It is quite a price  a childs rain jacket will do the same job, a draw string in the bottom of the jacket can be tightened around the lens end the body of the jacket goes over the camera and your hands can go up the sleeves to work the camera, the hood hangs down over the back when you are not using the screen. Cost about 4.99. Available in all colours and if you are lucky a camo version might be on sale :D

See now, I never would have thought of that - that's what I love about this forum! :D I suppose the question now is, do I go for OshKosh B’gosh?!

Last time I was shooting in the rain, I used a Spar shopping bag and made a hole in end the size of the lens hood :)

I have a thinktank cover for my 400mm 2.8 and its a great cover - far better than the aqua shield covers.

Thinktank are great and nice and light.

    Well worth the money.
