I agree, there are a few Ads online I was interested in and either emailed or Rang to be ignored or told the item had sold ages ago.

Especially on Donedeal, why can sellers not Click on Item Sold thus removing the AD rather than marking it SOLD SOLD SOLD

I find adverts.ie to be a complete waste of time for me. I dislike the forum-style nature of it, and the "make an offer" thing. It'd be very unusual for me to accept or agree on a price over the phone or over the internet unless it's with someone i know well. The last time i advertised a car on adverts I got lots of very stupid questions like "hi mate where have you the car" despite the ad saying limerick and lots of moronic low-ball offers of tiny fractions of the price.

Donedeal gets you loads of eejits and timewasters too but so many people look at it that I find it makes it with putting up with that crap as I ususally get it sold from donedeal.

I do wish the "will you swap it for a honda civic 1.4 and a bag of crisps" type people would feck off though.
