Things should be good at home if in IT??

My brother lives and works in Sao Paulo. He likes it but would prefer home except for the weather. Seems to head to a place called ubatuba every second weekend. Apparently 100s of beaches there. If going to Sao Paulo the only thing id say is to research where you will live. There are nicer satelite towns of 300,000 people such as jundiai but then they are far quiter night life wise too. Also you would need somewhere with good transport links to where your working as travelling around the city can take a lot of time, id sugest staying in a hostel and then renting an apartment once you have a job and are happy that you will stay in the job.

As for costs its not really that cheap a country. Anything produced within Brazil is very reasonable but anything imported is heavily taxed, so food will generally be cheap but a smartphone would cost more then over here.
