Anyone feel that, not necessarily their life in particular has been disappointing, but, just life in general, has been a major disappointment?

We all feel like that at times. But life is a sine wave...all ups and downs, so it may not be like that forever.

I've a few years to go yet before I declare the final judgement. Its a work in progress, good times and bad times. Ups and downs, swings and roundabouts. All the cliches.

What do you mean when you say in general OP, what particular aspects of life have you found to be a disappointment thus far?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,574 ✭✭✭whirlpool

I don't really know what to say. But, I will say this.

Did you know that that isn't actually Baz Luhrmann talking? It's actually an Australian guy called Lee Perry.

Nothing a long rope and dirty magazine won't sort OP.
If you don't thank my post from the afterlife I'll take it it's over-rated.

So that's the end of that - another disappointment - however, Pizza's ready.

I know what your talking about OP. I was only talking to a lizard the other day and he was just going on and on about how boring life is. He said all he does is climb branches, wave his googly eyes about and whip his tongue out everytime he sees a fly. In the end I told him I'd give him a call soon.

mikom, you're the only one who cares, please enlighten this wayward soul.

For billions of years since the outset of time every single one of your ancestors survived.
Every single person on your mums and dad's side successfully looked after and passed onto you life.
What are the chances of that like

    Hardly a disappointment.
Disappointingly these are Mike Skinners words not mine.

Just dont think of it and bask in all the fun things you enjoy. You'll be dead before you know it! I try to avoid dwelling on negative things like that.
