I'm in Waterford but downloaded this to have a nosy.
The UI and everything about this app is bloody brilliant. Congrats on the excellent work

I saw this post and downloaded it to get on a guestlist for a trip home. The app seems to require the user to be in Dublin as it works via gps, so it gave me zero options. It also crashed the first time I opened it.

Please don't tell people to give you 5 stars. It would be more appropriate to ask people to give a honest rating.

Hey Bluefoam, sorry to hear that. If you click on search, tap location and select Dublin, then it will show you the nightclubs in Dublin regardless of where you are.

Can I ask what phone you have? Android version? Did you have GPS turned on? If you could answer these questions it would help out a lot towards de-bugging the app and making it better for everyone.

    Thanks for the feedback

On Samsung Galaxy S II every time I start it the location and security settings pop up, I have to press back to go to the app, its extremely annoying.

It also crashed on me doing this once, seems to have a hard time starting up when not connected to a Wi-Fi access point. (report sent).

Also whats the point in showing the video on start up? And then making the user switch it off from popping up every time?

Thanks for the reports guys, they help a lot.

The reason the settings appears is because you have GPS turned off and the app is based around your location.

The video (old filler video - update to replace this and other bug fixes out v. soon) shows on start-up to let people know how to use it. Confusing it was developed incorrectly if you click the bottom left line so that it says 'don't show this screen on start-up' then it won't (as opposed to the usually click to verify the action statement) - This is on my list of things to fix.

You should show a pop up to the user on start up stating that GPS is off and would they like to turn it on, if they select yes go to the settings, otherwise they (like me) won't know why the app is pushing the settings.

Great layout and design of the app and I never turned on GPS and it seemed to work quite well without it.

Thanks for the comments they all help. We are currently looking to include a lot more 'feedback' to the user in the app including your suggestion.
