    Hi All

    Your coffee is on me:)

Well it will be soon anyway....

I will finally be seeing a few of the new GAGGIA COFFEE MACHINES very soon and we in The Philips Shop would love for you to call in have a coffee with us!

I've no doubt that after you have tried a fresh coffee from one of our new Gaggia Coffee Machines you'll certainly leave the shop more alert than when you came in...oh and use that extra pep in your step to carry a new Gaggia home:D

Below is a little more info on what we should have in stock.

As you may know Gaggia are world renowned for producing maybe the finest Coffee Machines on the market and are now under the Philips umbrella.

The nice thing about these machines is that most use ground coffee beans, which you can easily buy or you can grind your own if you like, Some of them can take the full bean and grind them internally as well.
This makes them much more economical to use than some other brands out there that are restricted to some form of pod or capsule.
Plus there is no shortage of different ground coffee types or coffee beans out there to try.

I'll post up the specs for a couple of the machines as a taster to start with
After seeing and touching them in the flesh you get great feeling of quality and solidity from them - they'll provide many years of use

This is the Gaggia Cubika Plus

    ri8151_60__fv_.jpg

    It features -
    an all metal body
    A large 2ltr water tank
A Pannarello steam attachment for perfect foam
can make 2 cups at once
    1100watt power
    15bar pump pressure
    takes ground coffee

Its spec sheet can be found here
This model will be priced at €229.99

A little higher up the range is the Gaggia Classic
    ri8161_40__fv_.jpg

    This is a great machine

    It features -
    Stainless Steel body
Professional chromed brass filter holder and ring
Soleniod Valve which elimiantes hot spots which can burn the coffee
A large 2.1 ltr water tank
A Pannarello steam attachment for perfect foam
can make 2 cups at once
    1300watt power
    15bar pump pressure
    uses ground coffee

Its spec sheet can be found here
    This will sell for €349.99

Now this one looks very cool especially in deep RED, its called the Gaggia Espresso Colour, its also available in BLACK and goes by the name Gaggia Espresso Pure

    [Embedded Image Removed]

Thes best photo I can find at the momentredface.gif - its a new model and is a little more compact than the others but still fully featured

    ABS Plastic Body
    A 1.25ltr water tank
A Pannarello steam attachment for perfect foam
Professional chromed brass filter holder and ring
can make 2 cups at once
    1100watt power
    15bar pump pressure
    takes ground coffee

This will be priced at €239.99

Once I have the the final range available to us I'll update this post.

    Cheers
    Ash

    @dubguy45,

Get a grip man, the fact that you don't drink coffee is neither here nor there, those are real chromey Italian-looking-design machines with knobs and spouts and pumps and blah bar pressure and 1300 watts and everything, you know you need one of them, imagine it glinting and gleaming in the morning sun on your kitchen counter !!

Anymore whinging from anyone and I'll be getting out the ban stick (if I can find it......)

    That's great news,
I have had a baby gaggia for years and am really satisfied with it. I set me heart on a gaggia brera but can't justify buying it because of the price difference between retailers here and in Europe.
    Amazon.co.uk £559
    Amazon.de €334:confused:
I'm looking forward to see what you'll be able to sell it for.
Best of luck with the range anyway, classy products.

@ Molzer2 - thanks, I should have a better idea over the coming weeks of what models will be available and at what price.

    keep eyes peeled

    cheers all

    Hi Smcelhinney

I have not received the full range listing as yet so I'm not 100% sure as to what we will finally see:o

I should have more info by the end of the month.
We should have a pretty good range to offer out.

    Hi Ashley,
Is there a difference between that machine and this one @ £169 delivered?

  • Company Representative Posts: 9,510 ✭✭✭Richersounds.ie: John

    KC,

I'll look into this for you and revert on asap - we've just had these machines delivered yesterday and to be fair included in our price we're offering a really beautiful Gift pack including really high quality Gaggia Cups, Saucers, Choccies, Coffee and other bits n pieces.

I also understand that there may be some old stock from prior to the Philips / Gaggia takeover which is still kicking around in the UK - as it appears that we are competitive on the other models (even before the gift packs..)

    - however I'll speak to Mrs. Gaggia at Philips Towers and revert as soon as I have any news....never hurts to ask ;)..and as ever we will do our very best for you..

Thanks again for the post and drop me a line if we can assist in any way,
