Camera app in lock screen

In my photos settings, under HDR I have turned the 'Keep Normal Photo' to off (as I don't want to have to delete duplicates).

When I take a picture as normal (with phone unlocked) it adheres to this setting and saves only the HDR version.

However, when I access the camera from the lock screen and take a shot, it reverts and saves the normal picture as well as the HDR version.

Is this a bug, or does it just revert to default settings when in the lock screen?

Sounds like a bug, I'd submit it to Apple, to be fixed in 5.1!

Also, when you have a passcode set, and you take a picture, and go to look at it in the camera roll, you can see that picture only, if you want to see the rest you have to enter your passcode, which is a good thing....but, if you simply press the home button, it brings you back to your home screen without the need to input a passcode....fail!

Doesn't do this for me?
I just get the passcode screen.

Mine asks for the passcode when I press the home button. Have you set the passcode to apply automatically after locking? If yes, then this could be another bug. If it's set to be 5 mins after locking or something then I can imagine the above happening.

I've just also realised that there is massive potential to abuse Photostream from the lock screen...:D
