Capital gains - under exemption threshold...

    The case: capital gains for a year are under the personal exemption threshold of € 1,270 - is it still necessary to file a form CG1, regardless?

    (Sorry for posting such a probably simple question here, but Revenue are not picking up any phones)

    No, unless the market value for such gift is more than exemption
