Wanted: Askium rear wheel

    I am looking for a Mavic Aksium rear wheel as I need a 20 hole hub to build onto a carbon rim. The wheel can be damaged as I am just want hub and spokes, shimano freehub if possible.

    Anyone out there who wants to sell a damaged Aksium rear wheel?
    I have bought a new set of 2012 model in the meantime but don't want to strip a brand new rear wheel to get the hub out of it. If someone wants to trade their old Aksiums with a 20 spoke rear wheel we can do a deal? I can sell the new Aksiums with Mavic tyres and tubes for €150 less whatever value on the old wheels?

    Thanks for the tip cipo but unfortunately that looks like a 24 hole rear wheel.

    Have 20 hole kysrium elite hub Shimino fitting . Are you still selling the dura aces I might be interested.

    Hi Clog, yes still selling the DA 7801, The Elite hub would be good with 20 spokes, I would need the spokes as well as they are a different shapes at the hub.

    I have an Axium hub. It has five holes on the drive side and ten on the other. It is in good condition - the wheel got wreched in a pot-hole during a race and I just cut it off with an angle-grinder. So no spokes.

    And yes, it has Shimano freehub.
    I'm looking for a crappy old rear wheel for turbo if you have anything like that.

    I just got the brain in gear and checked the stocks and yes, I do have the 20 spokes to go with that hub. The angle grinder was applied to an earlier Mavic when the rim just wore down.
