Sorry but really if you don't have a dental degree- it's your dentist who should be advising you on exactly what is best in your specific situation...
I wouldn't google if a stent or a bypass was best for my dad and then tell the cardiac surgeon which one I wanted.
Your options really should be; nothing, denture, bridge or implant and then leave the finer details to the dentist....

I know that everyone is going to give out to me about the patient's automony etc and that the doc/dentist doesn't know best.... but there are more variables here than people realise...

I would say most people would go with their dentists advice. There are a lot of problems with zirconia bridges such as de-lamination, poor aesthetics du to large connector size and core reflectivity. And the fact that more room need to be prepped into your teeth. They are really not suitable for most situations and INHO PFM bridges look better and last better (If made properly).

thanks for your advice.i need other dental work done before i go down the road of bridges so havnt discussed the finer details of bridges with my dentist yet. im surprised to say the least i really thought zirconia was the way to go !! especially from an aesthetic point of view and the fact that one of the teeth is in my smile line.anyway thanks so much for your advice and when the time comes in a few weeks ill discuss this with my dentist.
