Plantar fasciitis & heel spurs & running

I started the C25k programme during the summer and am currently running about 6km 3/4 times a week hoping to build up to 10k.

I've suffered from plantar fasciitis & heel spurs for years and can get painful flareups every now and then. Since I started running I've had no issues bar the odd niggle in the mornings which I hardly notice I'm so used to it.

But the last couple of days it's been really sore, one foot in particular. I ran on Wednesday for the first time in a week (was on holidays and it was just too hot for me- I went out one day but it wasn't something I was keen to repeat so stuck to walking)

Anyway I'm due to run again tomorrow and I'm wondering if I should give it a miss. The foot had been bothering me for a couple of days before I ran Wednesday but it didn't hurt at all that I noticed when I was running (I think I always have a bit of pain that I'm immune to by now).

I don't want to do any damage but I really want to keep going at this - have really surprised myself by how much I enjoy it.

    Thanks!!!
