1920s style dress

Hey, I'm looking for a 1920s style vintage dress. Think the party scene in the Great Gatsby. I'm just wondering where would be the best place in Dublin to scout for one of these. I don't want to pay a lot. Any ideas?
I should clarify that this is not for a costume party or anything like that. I just like the look.

have you tried the vintage stores i.e. harlequinn and jenny vanders? they have fab stuff but jv can be ridiculously expensive, gorgeous stuff though and the staff in both shops are really helpful. Particularly good for accessories. Both around sth william street and drury street in Dublin.

Another shop I love but are more of a rockabilly/40's style is retro in Georges Arcade. Their stuff is new but in a vintage style as far as I know. It might be worth a look though. Again, if they cant help you out Id say the staff will point you in the right direction.

The only thing Id worry is that any dresses you might get would cost.
