Used to make these as a kid and got whole summers of fun out of them.
The potato guns were pretty harmless but some serious peg guns were knocked together, only realise now looking back how dodgy they were:eek:
    Anyone remember the battles?

I used to make peg guns all the time, lethal they were could have an eye out before you'd know it.

Health and safety would be all over that shít these days.

Yeah, peg guns were deadly but the humble catapult had a much faster load time and was even deadlier.

Yes, as I got older and bolder the peg gun made way for the Black Widow unbeknown to my mother....... Until I smashed the shed wondow:o
She confiscated it but I'd didn't take me long to find the hiding place:D
Think I still have it in a box somewhere:cool:
