Sky+ App Update

    Sky have updated their Sky+ app today. The last update didnt go down well with a lot of iPhone users but seemed to work well on the iPad.

    Todays update though has gone back to much more simple layout and is perfect for browsing the guide and setting recordings on an iPhone.

    Sky obviously read the many negative reviews on the app store and changed it accordingly. Nice one.

    The grid layout is still in it though but with the difference that it loads properly. :)

    Mine didn't change over at 12. Still showing Thursday's listings as "Today".

    Works very well now, clean layout and easy navigation. Channel listing seems to be picked up from your account details - perfect!

    Yes a better replacement for channel listings than the TVGuide app that went to sh*t after they ruined it with adverts...

    No, just needs to be left plugged in to mains power.

    When mine updated it's to a UK region and has itv and not rte. Have had a good play around with it but I can't find where I can change region? Anyone have any advise! :(

    Have you logged in with your SKYid/registered???

    Yep, I've been using the app for over a year and have in the past changed to ROI manually but with the update it won't allow this. I am registered with sky

    Strange. Perhaps if you deleted the app, reinstalled it and logged in again it might work?

    Was just on to Sky and apparently I have now officially become a bug in the new app. Well not me personally but i've identified a bug in it and at the moment they can do nothing for me. In fairness to them they did try very hard on the phone to resolve it. I'm now without my sky+ app :(:mad::eek:

    Ok all I have to say is sky really have the best customer service. They came back to me a couple of times today with possible solutions and in the end they realised that my address had not been imputed into their computer correctly and I was slotted into a UK address. Once the error was corrected I logged out and back in and Horrah the app now works :D:D:D:D:D:D

    Kudos to you Sky customer care:)

    As of yet you are unable to cancel through the app.
