What do you mean by felt? Why would you look in bookshops? You will not get the fabric type felt in A4 size, its about 30cm square - which of course you could cut A4 from.

I got a big roll of 1m of black felt in Hickeys in Northwood in Santry. They also had the A4 size sheets, cant remember the colours though but worth a check.

Evan's Art supply shop in town had them a few months ago, they were selling them in a pack. Easons on O'connell St sell them individually if you're only looking for 1 or 2. however, they're quite expensive in Easons :)

Hickey's fabric shops, and The Woollen Mills both sell felt, any shop that sells sewing/knitting items should stock felt. Bookshops wouldn't stock it, they just sell books. :)

Glad you got what you were looking for, but whoda thunk a shop selling school uniforms would be the place to go! ;)

I bought a pack a few months ago in the 2€ shop. Not sure if they are in your area.
