    ive looked and seen a talking ben dog?

    any links to a download would be great,or something similar

    Do you just mean text to speech or are you looking for an animated talking character.

    There are several free text to speech programmes. I've used Panopreter.

    Would this suit? It needs Windows XP and won't run on other OSes I don't think as MS scrapped the Agent. Seems it should work on Windows 7 ans it supports vista. You can download animated agents here

    I suppose for a teacher it could be useful, for teaching kids or something like that :P . Makes the mudane more "fun" although I don't think a lecture with Clippy would go down well with most of us :P
