Charity Calendar

I am hoping that someone can help!!??

I have offered to do help a local school (TY year) who are doing a chairty calendar. I am giving my photography skills for free. But they (the TY year) have been constantly coming up blank in trying to source someone to do the calendars cheaply.

The school is insisting that the calendar will NOT sell for more than 8 Euro. So it doesnt leave much scope for them.

Can someone please advise on where to go to get them printed - if someone wants to do it free (long shot I know) I'd be very grateful. I'm meeting with the school later this evening!?

    All help greatly welcome

    Thank you

best suggestion I could make is try to sell adverts on each of the calendar months in order to minimise costs - sell these to local businesses or if a parent wants to sponsor a month they can do that too.

I'm guessing a small print run?

DIY Job. Printer (may be wrecked at the end), ring binders and binding machine, good quality paper, stiff card for backing, clear plastic to overlay on cover. Lots of elbow grease. Sorted.

They won't win any production prizes but they'll be fine for purpose of selling to mam and dads - infact maybe even more valuable as they will be a direct product of the TY students efforts.

I was that soldier. Same problem - small print run = too dear to be worthwhile. Never again ;)

    How about these desk calenders

    http://www.vistaprint.ie/desk-calendars.aspx?pfid=315&xnav=TsrItem&xnid=moreInfoPFID311

    Was given one last Christmas.

A handy thing is the ability to add text to any dates which may be of special interest such as birthdays etc, (perhaps a school could put in it's holidays?)

choose the images and upload them using todays Irish Mail on Sunday discount code. (I didn't buy the paper)

but .... free calendar ...just pay postage (around €3)

    hey presto profit .

Get everyones address ASAP and money and get working on it !!
(I doubt the discount code will be active for very long)
